Floral Arranging Class with Jan Guy - Floral Arranging with Jan Guy Floral Arranging ClassJoin us for a fun and creative Floral Arranging Class held on the third Thursday of each month at 1 PM at the Plaistow Recreation Office, located inside the Norman Major building at 14 Elm Street.Hosted by local Plaistow resident Jan Guy, this hands-on class will teach you how to design beautiful arrangements using high-quality artificial flowers in charming 4-inch pots. The first class will be on March 13th, and the cost is $15 per person. No experience is needed—just bring your creativity and enjoy a relaxing afternoon of floral design. Our host, Jan, moved to Plaistow seven years ago after returning to New England following a period of retirement in Las Vegas. Previously, she and her late husband were longtime residents of Methuen, where he served as a Methuen Firefighter.Over the years, Jan has had a diverse career, working as a corporate travel agent, aerobics instructor, and dental hygienist. While living in Las Vegas, she worked in retail and served as the warehouse manager for Las Vegas House Staging, assisting owner Linda Blake with home staging projects. Now retired, Jan is a devoted mother of two and grandmother of three. Floral arranging has been her passion for over 30 years, creating gifts for friends and family. In the past year, she began leading monthly floral arranging sessions at Nevins Nursing Home in Methuen, where the residents have inspired her to further explore her creativity and expand her involvement in this cherished hobby. To reserve your spot, email Recreation@plaistow.com or call (603) 382-5200 ext. 204
