Plaistow’s Annual Pumpkin Festival

Join us for an afternoon of family fun!
This year’s Pumpkin Lighting Festival promises exciting activities for everyone. In addition to our famous pumpkin carving contest, enjoy music by a DJ, games, a corn maze, food trucks, and candy giveaways from local organizations for children in Halloween costumes.

Pumpkin Carving Contest

Bring your pre-carved pumpkins to the Gazebo (behind Town Hall) by 6:00 PM sharp to enter. All pumpkins will be displayed along the walkways for everyone to admire. Winners will be announced at 6:30 PM, with prizes for:
  • Scariest Pumpkin
  • Most Creative Pumpkin
  • Most “Halloweeny” Pumpkin
Let’s beat our record of 76 illuminated pumpkins set back in 2004!

Costume Contest
Come dressed in your best Halloween attire.
Prizes will be awarded for:

  • Best Costume
  • Best Group/Family Costume
Please keep costumes family-friendly.
We look forward to seeing you on the green for an evening of festive fun!
